THE BESPOKE JOURNEY
HOW IT WORKS
Every bespoke commission follows a structured yet flexible process. While each piece is entirely individual, most commissions move through the following stages.
Initial Discovery Call
Your journey begins with a structured Initial Discovery Call held via Zoom. During this conversation, we discuss your ideas, timeline and investment range to ensure alignment before moving forward. This stage provides clarity on what is possible and outlines the next steps in your bespoke commission.
Design Consultation & Direction
Following your initial call, we move into a more detailed design discussion. Many bespoke wedding ring clients prefer to meet in person at the Cotswolds office at this stage, while engagement ring clients usually continue the process over video call. During this stage, we refine proportions, stone preferences, lifestyle considerations and design details, forming a clear creative direction for your bespoke piece.
Design Concept & Quotation
We prepare a curated design concept and comprehensive quotation, covering diamonds or gemstones, materials, craftsmanship, delivery and VAT. A 50% deposit secures your commission and allows the design process to begin. Full terms and conditions can be viewed here.
DIAMOND & GEMSTONE SELECTION
Holly sources your diamonds and gemstones by hand, chosen to match your agreed criteria. Selection typically happens before production to ensure precise proportions and structural integrity in the final design.
CAD Visualisation
Holly creates a detailed 3D rendering so you can visualise the proportions and design details of your piece. Adjustments can be made until you're happy, and nothing goes into production until you've given final approval.
Prototype (Where Applicable)
For many bespoke designs, we send a resin prototype discreetly to you. This lets you experience the proportions and feel of your piece before it's made, whether that's for proposal planning or to see how a wedding band will sit alongside an existing engagement ring
Crafting & Completion
Your piece is handcrafted by specialist UK goldsmiths and checked by Holly for quality before delivery. Diamond certification and a complimentary valuation for insurance are provided where applicable.

I've spent fifteen years in this industry, the last eight of those running my own studio.
Years on the shop floor before that, serving thousands of customers, taught me what makes someone fall in love with a piece. It also taught me what makes them walk away feeling rushed, unsure, or like they were never told the full story.
That's what bespoke is built on here: no hard sell, complete transparency, and real guidance through something this sentimental.
My aim is simple: that you feel listened to, and have everything you need at every step, so what you end up with feels entirely yours, not just well made.

Timeline Guidance
Engagement commissions are typically discussed around three months prior to proposal. Wedding rings are best started six months before your wedding date.
Investment
Engagement rings begin from £3,500.
Wedding rings and remodelling commissions begin from £1,500.
Each quotation is tailored individually based on design, materials and stone selection.
