THE BESPOKE JOURNEY
HOW IT WORKS
Every bespoke commission follows a structured yet flexible process. While each piece is entirely individual, most commissions move through the following stages.
Initial Discovery Call
Your journey begins with a structured Initial Design Consultation held via Zoom. During this conversation, we discuss your ideas, timeline and investment range to ensure alignment before moving forward.
This stage provides clarity on what is possible and outlines the next steps in your bespoke commission.
Design Consultation & Direction
Following your initial consultation, we move into a more detailed design discussion. This may take place in person at the Cotswolds office or via Zoom where required.
During this stage, we refine proportions, stone preferences, lifestyle considerations and design details, forming a clear creative direction for your bespoke piece.

Design Concept & Quotation
A curated design concept and comprehensive quotation will be prepared, inclusive of diamonds or gemstones, materials, craftsmanship, delivery and VAT.
A 50% deposit secures your commission and allows the design process to begin. Full terms and conditions can be viewed here.
DIAMOND & GEMSTONE SELECTION
Diamonds and gemstones are sourced through trusted suppliers according to your agreed criteria. Selection typically takes place prior to production to ensure precise proportions and structural integrity within the final design.
CAD Visualisation
A detailed 3D rendering is created to help you visualise the proportions and design details of your piece. Adjustments can be made prior to final approval, ensuring complete confidence before production begins.
Prototype (Where Applicable)
For many bespoke designs, a resin prototype can be produced and sent discreetly to you. This allows you to experience the proportions and overall feel of your piece before final creation, whether for proposal planning or to visualise how a wedding band will sit alongside an existing engagement ring.
Crafting & Completion
Your piece is handcrafted by specialist UK goldsmiths and undergoes final quality checks before delivery. Diamond certification and a complimentary valuation for insurance are provided where applicable.

Timeline Guidance
Engagement commissions are typically discussed around three months prior to proposal. Wedding rings are best started six months before your wedding date.
Investment
Engagement rings begin from £2,500.
Wedding rings and remodelling commissions begin from £1,500.
Each quotation is tailored individually based on design, materials and stone selection.
Preparing for Your Consultation
You are welcome to bring inspiration images or design references to your consultation. Whether you have a clear vision or are starting from scratch, structured guidance will be provided throughout.
